About Us
Sentinel Inspection Group was founded by a group of inspectors committed to excellence before, during and after the inspection. Sentinel is lead by John Tatum and Ruben Santillan with an average inspection experience of over 19 years. We ensure that all of our inspectors far exceed the training requirements put forth by the state, so you can be assured that when a Sentinel inspector enters your future home, you’re in good hands.

At Sentinel Inspection Group, our job is not to sell you on a house, nor is it to scare you away from one. Our goal is to give you, the buyer, the knowledge and understanding of the home’s condition so that you can feel comfortable with the method in which you proceed. We pledge to be available to answer any questions you may have prior to the inspection, perform and explain the highest quality inspection, and make ourselves available for any follow up questions that may arise. Our reports are extremely detailed with pictures & explanations and are always delivered via email the same day.

At Sentinel we go far beyond the minimum requirements of the state. We perform the structural, electrical, mechanical and plumbing inspections and can align additional inspections as needed for your convenience. (Well and Septic, Pool, Wood Destroying Insects, etc). We use the latest in inspection technologies, such as drones for inaccessible roofs, infrared thermal cameras to check for elevated moisture, missing insulation, etc and zip levels to document the elevation performance of the foundation.
